About: C.P.A. Lemmens
Life is simple - we make choices and we don't look back.
I am an enthusiastic student born in the Netherlands and raised in a business family. My childhood was a happy one that stimulated my creativity and intellectual curiosity. During grammar school I was in search of a challenge, hence, I additionally attended the intermediate vocational education "Computer Science" and graduated from it when I was 14. This was the moment when it became clear that I was passionate about everything concerning information technology. Nowadays most of my spare time is spent learning aspects of interface development, strategy, (knowledge) management and sociology.
When me and my family moved to Sweden in 2001 I attended the upper secondary school and finished within 2 years instead of the standard 3 years. I did not have any Swedish language skills when I started; however, I proved after half a year that I was able to follow the education program in Swedish. My average grade was B+; this includes 5 passes with special distinction. My lecturers, therefore, considered me to be an excellent student with a professional attitude, a great sense of responsibility, ambitious, and very willing to learn.
For quite some time I have been exposed and gained ample professional experience in the ICT industry. However, now I have reached the point where I feel not only interested in improving my skills in interface design and development, but well prepared to do so.
The University of Utrecht seemed to be a great continuance on the American University of Paris which I attended for about a year and established that I have no problem following a curriculum taught in English. Currently I am still a student at the University of Utrecht and study "Information Science", with joy.
Whilst studying, my efforts are focused at successfully graduating and becoming a better interface developer specialized in the fields of (x)HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT and AJAX. Thenceforth, my focus will be set to become a "(Technical Strategy) Consultant". Indeed, I am convinced that there is a great future for me in this knowledge and skill demanding age where limits are stretched beyond the obvious and new perspectives are needed each day.
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to read the above and sincerely hope you got a better understanding of me, as a person.
Sincerely,
Kees Lemmens
